Responding to a different query by BJP’s Ashokrao Shankarrao Chavan, Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu stated the DGCA ordered the inspection of 33 787-Dreamliner planes in Air India’s fleet after the crash.

“Out of complete 33 plane, 31 operational plane have been inspected whereby minor findings have been noticed in 8 plane. These plane have been launched for operation put up rectification. The remaining 2 plane are below scheduled upkeep,” stated Naidu.
