Law enforcement officials shot and killed a person allegedly armed with a rifle inside a van in Boyle Heights on Monday morning.
Round 8:30 a.m., LAPD officers responded to a name of a person armed with a rifle on the 1200 block of Spence Avenue. The officers arrived and “encountered an armed male suspect inside a van” and shot him, a Los Angeles Police Division assertion learn.
After the capturing, SWAT officers tried to make contact with the suspect and deployed fuel to attempt to pressure him out, however the suspect didn’t reply, the division mentioned.
