The thirty second version of the Sheffield DocFest has concluded in England.
On Sunday, director Anastasiya Miroshnichenko’s Welded Collectively gained the pageant’s Grand Jury Award for the Worldwide Competitors through the closing gala at Sheffield’s Crucible Playhouse.
The pageant’s jury known as the choice “a portrait of resilience and energy — each of the principle character and of a group that stands in solidarity. The movie highlights the distinction between the generosity of the folks and the tough realities of alcoholism within the Belarussian society. An sincere and delicate portrayal of a younger lady desperately attempting to carry her household ‘welded collectively.’”
Kicking off on June 18, the pageant hosted 51 world premieres from 68 international locations of manufacturing. In partnership with Showroom Cinema, the DocNights screening program will proceed year-round.
