Essentially the most surprising ‘The Studio’ cameo occurred towards Apple’s needs

Hit Apple TV+ comedy The Studio has been filled with superstar cameos, and this week’s Golden Globes episode took issues to a complete new stage. However essentially the most surprising cameo of the episode—certainly, the entire season—apparently wouldn’t have occurred if Apple received its approach.

Apple requested that Tim Prepare dinner change Netflix CEO

Among the many deep roster of superstar cameos in The Studio’s newest episode, one which had a recurring bit was Netflix’s CEO Ted Sarandos.

All through the episode, which is ready on the Golden Globes, Sarandos is thanked by actors and different creatives of their acceptance speeches.

Lastly, Sarandos shares a scene with Seth Rogen’s character, Matt Remick.

However it seems, Apple reportedly had a unique tech government in thoughts for the function.

Apparently, Apple had some notes on that casting, however Rogen didn’t take them.

“They requested if we may use Tim Prepare dinner as an alternative, and we stated no,” Rogen instructed Enterprise Insider on the crimson carpet premiere for “The Studio” on the SXSW Movie & TV Pageant in March.

It’s not totally clear whether or not Rogen was being severe, or just providing a joke—both appears attainable.

Taking Rogen at his phrase although, if Apple actually did need Prepare dinner to fill Sarandos’ cameo function, I’m glad they in the end didn’t push the concept too strongly.

Netflix’s CEO displaying up so prominently in an Apple TV+ present was an excellent artistic transfer. Having Apple’s CEO make an look, although, may need felt compelled.

To not rule out a future Prepare dinner look, maybe within the newly introduced season 2. I’m positive Rogen and workforce can provide you with a job well-suited for Prepare dinner.
