Lenny Henry To Obtain Edinburgh Fest Excellent Achievement Award

Lenny Henry will obtain an award for excellent achievement at subsequent month’s Edinburgh TV Competition.

The celebrated comic and actor can be acknowledged for a 50-year profession “that has helped form the panorama of British tv and tradition,” the fest mentioned.

Henry has appeared within the likes of The Rings of Energy, Broadchurch, The Syndicate, Chef! and The Witcher: The Blood Origin, in addition to stage performances together with The Comedy of Errors at The Nationwide, Fences on the Duchess Theatre and The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui on the Donmar Warehouse.

Past his on-screen achievements, he has been an advocate for range and inclusion within the business, utilizing his platform – and his tv manufacturing firm Esmerelda – to champion underrepresented voices.
