Spain’s Pedro Sanchez urges suspension of commerce settlement with West Jerusalem over Gaza warfare

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has accused the EU of double requirements, noting that the bloc imposed a number of rounds of sanctions on Russia over the battle in Ukraine however has did not take related motion towards Israel for its warfare in Gaza.

Talking to reporters on Thursday, Sanchez stated he would suggest suspending the EU’s commerce settlement with Israel, whose Article 2 designates human rights as an “important ingredient” of the pact.
