Eight individuals had been tragically killed after a ship capsized on Lake Tahoe amid a freak thunderstorm on Saturday.
A thunderstorm that popped up over the lake created gusty winds and large waves as household and pals celebrated a tech government’s mom’s 71st birthday aboard a ship.
The 8-foot waves capsized the boat, sending the ten individuals on board into the harmful waters.
Eight individuals died, and two miraculously survived.
One of many victims was recognized as DoorDash government Joshua Pickles. He’s survived by his spouse, Jordan Sugar-Caarslgad, and his 7-month-old daughter.

Eight individuals died in a tragic boat accident on Lake Tahoe throughout a sudden, harrowing storm on Saturday afternoon. 4 had been members of the family who lived in Northern California. The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Workplace has now launched the identities of the victims who died Saturday. Paula Bozinovich, from Redwood Metropolis, was celebrating her 71st birthday together with her husband, Terry Pickles, 73, and their son, Joshua Antony Pickles, 37, a tech government from San Francisco. Joshua’s uncle, Peter Bayes, 72, from Lincoln, was additionally on board. Buddies of the household who died Saturday had been Timothy O’Leary, 71, from Auburn, Theresa Giullari, 66, and James Guck, 69, each of Honeoye, New York, and Stephen Lindsay, 63, from Springwater, New York.
