A small aircraft crashed right into a San Diego neighborhood on Thursday morning, hitting a number of houses and sparking a number of fires.

A neighborhood within the Murphy Canyon space was evacuated as firefighters battled the flames and tended to casualties. It wasn’t recognized how many individuals have been on the aircraft.

The crash left a “gigantic particles area,” San Diego Hearth-Rescue Division Assistant Chief Dan Eddy instructed ABC 10 in San Diego.

The FAA stated the Cessna 550 was en path to Montgomery-Gibbs Government Airport when the crash occurred round 3:45 a.m.

As of 6 a.m., no victims had been transported from the scene, based on CBS8.
