Two helicopters crashed near the Eura Airfield in Eura, Finland

5 folks have died after two civilian helicopters collided mid-air in Finland, native police mentioned.

The helicopters crashed close to Eura Airport at round 12:00 native time (10:00 GMT), after having taken off collectively from the Estonian capital of Tallinn.

Authorities discovered the wreckage of the helicopters in a wooded space. Police say there have been two folks in a single helicopter and three within the different.

They have been on their strategy to an aviation occasion on the Piikajärvi Flight Middle in Kokemäki, native media reported.

The plane have been foreign-registered civilian helicopters. The crash is being investigated by police.

Finnish and Estonian officers mentioned they have been working with one another into the probe.
