India and Pakistan moved into open army battle on Wednesday after New Delhi launched air strikes towards its neighbour over final month’s lethal militant assault on vacationers in Indian-administered Kashmir.
Pakistan claimed to have shot down 5 Indian army jets and a fight drone in response to the strike, which gave the impression to be India’s most in depth army assault on its neighbour in many years.
India mentioned it had carried out “precision strikes” on “terrorist infrastructure” in Pakistan and the a part of the disputed area of Kashmir that Pakistan administers.
