UK vacationer on trip in Florida charged with making an attempt to drown daughter-in-law in battle at lux resort

An Englishman’s getaway throughout the pond ended with him in a jail cell with an tried homicide cost — after he allegedly tried to drown his daughter-in-law within the pool.

Mark Raymond, 62, from Beaconsfield, England, allegedly held his daughter-in-law’s head below water on the luxurious Solterra Resort close to Orlando — as his terrified 9-year-old granddaughter fought to cease him, the Polk County Sheriff’s Workplace mentioned.

“The sufferer advised detectives that she and Gibbon started arguing about his grandchildren,” the workplace mentioned in a launch.

Raymond allegedly stored shoving his daughter-in-law’s head below the water, “stopping her from respiratory,” the sheriff’s workplace mentioned.
