EXCLUSIVE: Buzz is constructing for ITV cellphone hacking drama The Hack and we’ve obtained some unique photographs to take the story to the subsequent degree.

ITV and Stan spent a 12 months quietly filming, modifying and laying the groundwork for The Hack, which had working titles together with Damaged Information and Mandrake. Premiere date is but to be set.

The cellphone hacking scandal led to the closure of the Information of the World and imprisonment of its ex-editor Andy Coulson. Davies wrote an award-winning guide about it, Hack Assault: How the Fact Caught Up with Rupert Murdoch. The headline-grabbing story reared its head once more not too long ago after Murdoch’s Information Group Newspapers (NGN) apologized to Prince Harry, settled with him and for the primary time admitted “illegal actions carried out by personal investigators working for The Solar.”
ITV Studios is producing with Nameless, United Brokers and Casarotto Ramsay-backed AC Chapter One, with the pair re-teaming following the smash hit success of 2024’s Mr Bates, the ITV drama that broke viewing data and generated headlines for weeks. Thorne’s One Shoe Movies can be a co-producer. Between them, Thorne, Arnold and Spence have gained seven BAFTAs.
