Among the West’s largest musicians are getting the Okay-pop therapy with assist from Apple TV+, Megan Thee Stallion and Psy.
On Friday, the streaming platform revealed the trailer for KPopped, which debuts all episodes on Aug. 29, an eight-part collection that sees music icons collaborating with Okay-pop artists to reimagine their largest hits, battling it out in entrance of a dwell Seoul-based viewers that can determine the most effective new Okay-popped music.
Starring Okay-pop teams BILLIE, Itzy, KEP1ER, JO1, Ateez, STAYC, Kiss of Life and Blackswan, KPopped will even function Western artists like Stallion, Patti Labelle, the Spice Women’ Mel B and Emma Bunton, Vanilla Ice, Taylor Dayne, Kesha, Eve, J Balvin, Kylie Minogue, TLC, Boy George, Jess Glynne, Ava Max and Boyz II Males.
Hosted by comic Soojeong Son (Servant, Search Social gathering), and starring Stallion and Psy, the cross-cultural musical celebration will embrace recent spins on tracks like ‘Savage’, ‘Wannabe’, ‘Ice Ice Child’, ‘Woman Marmalade’, ‘Can’t Get You Out of My Head’, ‘Motownphilly’, ‘Waterfalls’ and extra.
KPopped is government produced by Moira Ross, Lionel Richie, Miky Lee, Stallion and Greg Foster, alongside Harry H.Okay. Shin and Jake Hong, with producer Ki-woong Kim for CJ ENM Co., Ltd. Chris Culvenor, Paul Franklin, Wes Dening and David Tibballs government produce for Eureka Productions (a Fremantle firm), alongside Bruce Eskowitz.
