Edward Stated introduced the query of Palestine into the American mainstream. He taught at Columbia College for practically 40 years, and as we speak, greater than twenty years after his dying, pro-Palestine pupil protesters on that campus and others have invoked his title. In the meantime, his interviews flow into on social media and his books are taught at universities around the globe. On this episode: the story of the person who pushed for recognition of the Palestinian perspective, the pushback he confronted, and the hazards he foresaw.
