A brush hearth ignited in mountain foothills in Riverside County on Wednesday afternoon, rising to 700 acres by dusk and prompting evacuation orders in close by rural communities, authorities stated.
The Dale hearth was reported shortly after 12:30 p.m. by Lugo Street and Freeway 371 in Aguanga, in keeping with the Riverside Unit of the California Division of Forestry and Hearth Safety.
