Faith Trainer indicted for intercourse trafficking boys, 15 and 17

A feminine faith trainer has been busted for allegedly trafficking no less than two boys, ages 15 and 17, for intercourse.

Lizamarie Rivera-García, 42, was arrested Monday, accused of getting “recruited, enticed, transported, and maintained” the boys “to interact in industrial intercourse acts,” in line with the US Legal professional’s Workplace for the District of Puerto Rico.

She was busted by Homeland Safety Investigations (HSI) after being indicted by a grand jury on a slew of sex-trafficking costs that, if convicted, would see her sentenced to a minimal of fifty years to a most of life in jail.

“A feminine faith trainer that had the accountability to information our kids about rules and beliefs was really growing a plan to sexually assault them,” mentioned Rebecca C. Gonzalez-Ramos, HSI San Juan’s Particular Agent in Cost.

“We can not let our guard down! Our youngsters are being sexually exploited by folks in positions of public belief,” she mentioned.

Rivera-Garcia, of Bayamón outdoors of San Juan, allegedly trafficked the 15-year-old between December 2023 and October 2024 and the 17-year-old from December 2023 to final November.

Gonzalez-Ramos mentioned that the teenagers can be supplied with the “obligatory help to beat this trauma.”

The case will likely be prosecuted by an assistant lawyer with the DHS’s Youngster Exploitation and Immigration Unit.
