LAS VEGAS — At Scientific Trials on the Summit, Dante Pieramici, MD, discusses using automated imaging aggregation and AI to enhance candidate choice for geographic atrophy scientific trials.
“I believe that is what we’re going to see sooner or later. It’s significantly better than me simply looking out by my [electronic medical records] or trying by my sufferers as they arrive in to try to enroll these sufferers,” Pieramici, of California Retina Consultants, advised Healio. “Standard expertise goes to be superior to AI expertise within the quick future, and it’s going to have a huge effect on scientific trials.”
