Greenback hits 3-year low as Donald Trump mulls naming subsequent Fed chair early

The greenback weakened to a three-year low after a report that Donald Trump was contemplating nominating the subsequent Federal Reserve chair early.

The US greenback fell 0.3 per cent in opposition to a basket of key buying and selling companions’ currencies on Thursday morning in Asia, hitting a stage final reached in early 2022.
