Tehran has launched retaliatory strikes towards US navy installations throughout the Center East, Iranian state-run media reported on Monday. Operation ‘Herald of Victory’ has thus far hit amenities in Qatar and Iraq.
Unverified footage circulating on-line reveals a number of projectiles within the skies above Qatar. Anti-aircraft defenses had been apparently activated, with a number of interceptor missiles fired.
The assault reportedly focused Al Udeid Air Base, a sprawling navy set up utilized by the Qatari, US and UK militaries. It was not instantly clear whether or not any incoming projectiles made it by way of.
