US President Donald Trump has stated he believes that Iran was “very shut” to acquiring a nuclear weapon, opposite to the evaluation of his director of nationwide intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard.
In late March, Gabbard stated that the US intelligence neighborhood “continues to evaluate that Iran just isn’t constructing a nuclear weapon and Supreme Chief Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has not licensed the nuclear weapons program he suspended in 2003.”
When requested concerning the stance of his spy chief by journalists on Tuesday, Trump replied: “I don’t care what she stated.”
“I believe they [Iran] had been very near having them,” the president pressured, referring to nuclear weapons.
