CHICAGO — On this video, Jennifer A. Ligibel, MD, professor at Harvard Medical Faculty and senior doctor within the Breast Oncology Heart at Dana-Farber Most cancers Institute, discusses burnout amongst medical oncologists.
Ligibel introduced findings from a survey of physicians at ASCO Annual Assembly.
“We discovered that management over schedule, the adverse impression of labor on private relationships and self-valuation have been probably the most carefully associated to burnout,” Ligibel stated. “We predict that these elements could be necessary as we attempt to develop applications to help oncologists and scale back burnout and preserve folks working of their jobs glad and productive.”
