A person survived the Air India crash that killed a minimum of 200 individuals, a police chief has advised an Indian information company.
Ahmedabad Police Commissioner GS Malik advised ANI there was one survivor who was in seat 11A on the London-bound Boeing 787-8 flight.
The flight manifest shared by authorities mentioned the passenger in that seat was British nationwide Vishwash Kumar Ramesh.
Indian media mentioned that they had spoken to Mr Ramesh in hospital and reported him saying: “Thirty seconds after take-off, there was a loud noise after which the aircraft crashed. All of it occurred so rapidly.”
Indian media mentioned he shared his boarding go which confirmed his title and seat quantity.
Commissioner Malik advised ANI the survivor “has been within the hospital and is underneath remedy”.
There have been 169 Indian nationals, 53 Britons, seven Portuguese nationals and one Canadian on the Gatwick Airport-bound flight, Air India mentioned.
The aircraft crashed into lodging utilized by docs lower than a minute after take-off.
In an announcement the King and Queen mentioned they had been “desperately shocked by the horrible occasions in Ahmedabad this morning”.
