Safety forces have fired tear gasoline and rubber bullets as anti-immigration raid rallies proceed for a 3rd day

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has denounced the violent protests raging for a 3rd consecutive day in Los Angeles, California. The rallies, which have sporadically escalated into brutal clashes, adopted widespread immigration raids performed by regulation enforcement throughout the town.

The unrest started on Friday and intensified on Saturday within the cities of Paramount and Compton, following a collection of immigration raids that resulted in over 100 arrests. Demonstrators tried to dam Border Patrol automobiles, with some throwing rocks and particles at officers. In response, federal brokers fired tear gasoline, pepper balls, and flash-bang grenades.

Musk took to X to share a photograph of a masked rioter standing on the roof of a demolished Waymo automotive, waving a Mexican flag and surrounded by different automobiles burned to the bottom.

“This isn’t OK,” the billionaire wrote.

Waymo, Alphabet’s supplier of driverless rides, has suspended its service in downtown Los Angeles “till it’s deemed secure,” after a number of automobiles erupted in flames amid the continued protests.

Musk’s submit marks his first public assertion in help of the US authorities following a public falling-out with President Donald Trump. Final week, the standoff between the 2 former allies over Trump’s “Huge and Lovely” tax and spending invoice escalated right into a collection of jabs on social media.

On Sunday, the US president ordered the deployment of two,000 troops from the Nationwide Guard, vowing to “liberate” Los Angeles from what he described as an “invasion” by felony migrants. Homeland Safety Secretary Kristi Noem, Protection Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Lawyer Basic Pam Bondi have been instructed to coordinate with federal businesses to quell the unrest, based on Trump.

The federal response has been strongly opposed by California Governor Gavin Newsom, who condemned a “takeover” of the state’s Nationwide Guard as unconstitutional and politically motivated. Newsom has demanded that President Trump rescind the order and return management of the troops to the state.
