President Trump is weighing in on the Diddy federal prison trial … saying he would look into the case and think about a possible pardon if the jury returns a responsible verdict.

Trump simply doled out a bunch of pardons and commutations this week to a slew of celebs … and he was requested Friday if he would ever think about pardoning Diddy.
POTUS says he hasn’t been following the Diddy trial all that intently and he must “have a look at what’s taking place” and “have a look at the details.”
Trump stated if Diddy was convicted and if he felt Diddy was “mistreated,” he may think about a possible pardon.
These are some fairly massive ifs — Diddy’s actually on trial proper now and we’re probably not even midway via. Frankly, this all sounds a bit untimely, even when Trump’s latest batch of pardons prompted the query from Fox Information’ Peter Doocy.
Diddy and Trump are each massive figures in New York and in 2012 on ‘Celeb Apprentice,’ Trump stated of Diddy, “I really like Diddy … You realize, he is a very good pal of mine, he is a very good man.”
However Trump appeared to distance himself from Diddy in his reply … saying they have not seen one another or spoken to at least one one other in years.
Trump says when he bought into politics, his relationship with Diddy “busted up” … although he says that may NOT have an effect when it got here to contemplating potential clemency.
