A person was in important situation Saturday after being struck by a Metro A Line (Blue) prepare in South-Central Los Angeles, officers stated.
The person, who’s believed to be about 30 years previous, was hit at 5:41 p.m. on Washington Boulevard close to Griffith Avenue, based on Los Angeles Hearth Division spokesperson Margaret Stewart. The prepare tracks within the space run alongside a busy intersection with a number of lanes of site visitors.
The person was transported to a hospital, Stewart stated. It was not instantly clear why he was on the tracks.
There have been no accidents reported on the prepare, Stewart stated.
Nonetheless, riders might face delays due to the incident, as trains are working on a single observe on the San Pedro/Washington Station, based on Metro.
