Police have confirmed no accidents occurred through the three separate incidents in north London
A Ukrainian nationwide has been charged with a number of counts of arson following a collection of fires, together with one at a property owned by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, the Metropolitan Police have confirmed.
In an announcement issued on Thursday, police mentioned Roman Lavrynovych, 21, faces three counts of arson with intent to hazard life. The costs relate to separate incidents on Saturday, Might 11 and Sunday, Might 12, involving a car fireplace, a blaze on the entrance of a property, and one other fireplace at a unique residential handle.
Lavrynovych was arrested on Tuesday and has remained in custody since his detention. The authorities said he’s scheduled to look at Westminster Magistrates’ Courtroom on Friday.
In accordance with police, one of many fires occurred at Starmer’s non-public residence in north London, which he retains regardless of dwelling together with his household at 10 Downing Road. Whereas the doorway to the property sustained injury, no accidents had been reported.
