EXCLUSIVE: Los Angeles-based gross sales, manufacturing and finance firm EST N8 has acquired worldwide gross sales rights for Philippine eco-horror movie The Caretakers.
The movie is written and directed by Shugo Praico (A Silent Night time, Bagman) and produced by Regal Leisure and Rein Leisure within the Philippines.
Starring Iza Calzado (The Echo) and Dimples Romana (Viral Scandal), the eco-horror movie follows a younger mom Audrey (performed by Calzado) who takes her two youngsters to repair up an outdated property belonging to her husband’s household. Upon arrival, she discovers that there are numerous sinister secrets and techniques within the hallowed partitions of the home, together with the foreboding warning of the property’s caretaker, Lydia (performed by Romana) to respect the native nature and maintain the home intact or face what dwells in it. As darkness consumes them, and the horrors push them to their limits, they need to confront the evils inside earlier than it destroys them and their households.

EST N8 is a partnership between LA-based EST Studios and New York- and Bangkok-based N8 Studios, representing a slate of Asian movies at world markets. EST Studios was based in 2022 by Jaeson Ma (Stampede Ventures, 88rising) and Eric Tu (Vice, Nameless Content material).
